The project is a 20MW Waste to Energy Plant in Senegal. The Sponsor has negotiated with the Municipalities a waste allocation for 25 years of a minimum of 1000 Ton per day of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW). The Municipalities have also agreed to pay a tipping fee of $5/ton starting in 2029, with 1.5% indexation. The waste concession matches with 25 year PPA . The electricity selling price at $0.07/kWh indexed on inflation of 1.5% during the first 10 years of operation. The project has land allocated, full planning consent, all authorizations in place including ESIA and is technically “shovel ready for construction”.
