The GEE3 bio refinery will produce renewable electricity which can be used to electrify the marine terminal at the Port of San Juan, power or renewable diesel fuel for industrial/commercial clients or sold to the area power grid, under a long-term fixed-price power purchase agreement (PPA) The GEE3 has been successfully demonstrated in a full-scale environment for over six years. The plants, capable of processing 1200 tons-per-day would create approximately 450 good paying skilled and semi-skilled direct full-time jobs providing a very positive impact for Puerto Rico.
