Waste-to-Energy Plant | India 1 & 2 - SAARWT

Two well designed and bankable W2E plants (gasification) with capacity to process 500 MT/d to MSW Electricity only (20 MW/h) in two different locations in India are suitable to chiefly achieve zero landfill, carbon free, and sustainably & affordably boost security of electricity supply in two major cities in India in environmentally friendly manner. These projects seek a total investment of $116M ($50M for CAPEX and $8M as working capital for each project respectively) with a +35% ROI or assured long-term returns on private debt. The two projects have similar features such as: plant size, generation capacity, financial needs, ROI, timeline, operating phase of 25 years, tariff, carbon credit, cash-flow, and pay back period. The required fund will be used for implementation (EPCC), and working capital for initial operation respectively. The project enjoys tariff above market average, secure PPA with credible off-taker, and other financial and non financial incentives. In addition, the project benefit multiple sources of income due to availability of carbon credit which is the property of the project company and contribute another 30% worth of electricity tariff income as additional source of revenue. (The financial projections shown below is for one project. However, same is true for the second project).
